Products
From seed and plant material to a fully-fledged organic product. Everything is interconnected, and healthy soil is essential. We also place great emphasis on continuously optimizing our machinery and motivating and training our employees.
Everything with respect for people, animals, and nature.
Potatoes
With a 1:6 crop rotation, potatoes are the largest component of our crop plan. We choose robust varieties that are ready for the future. In addition to our own cultivation and storage, we also provide storage services for third parties.
Onions
We use a 1:12 rotation for our second-year seed onions. We cultivate and store red and yellow onions with some heirloom seed material.
Beets
We sow red beets with a 1:12 rotation. The processing—cooking and vacuum sealing—takes place at Beetz, located next to the farm. NZ27 is a co-owner of Beetz.
Sweet Corn
Rotation 1:12. After harvesting, the cobs are cooked and packaged by Bio Brass. NZ27 is the founder and shareholder of Bio Brass, the farm’s immediate neighbors.
Pumpkin
We choose varieties that are well-suited for storage. Of course, they must be of the best quality and taste. Additionally, we grow pumpkins for baby food. Rotation 1:12.
Peas & Beans
Depending on demand, we cultivate peas and beans with a 1:12 or 1:24 rotation as the main crop. They are sold for processing into canned goods and frozen products in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Cabbage
This crop rotates 1:12. Cauliflower and/or broccoli are cultivated in collaboration with Bio Brass and sold fresh. White cabbage is grown for biodynamic sauerkraut by G. Kramer & Zonen B.V.
Grass-Clover-Lupine
This rest crop is sown with a 1:6 rotation for soil improvement and CO2 storage. We have a long-term partnership with three livestock farmers, where we exchange feed and straw for manure. A great example of circular farming!
Grain
Our grain follows a 1:12 rotation and is sent to Het Graanschap, an initiative for organic bread made with Dutch grains. The straw is given to local partners in exchange for manure.
